Vice President, Diverse Segments - Wells Fargo Funding

A native Indiana Hoosier, Cedric started his mortgage banking career with Freddie Mac back in 1982, after graduating with a degree in Real Estate Investments and Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington. During his 10 year tenure, he held several leadership positions before deciding to leave to join a federally chartered Bank, as Senior Vice President of Secondary Marketing. Since then he has worked for several other major players in the industry, in both wholesale and correspondent lending.


Cedric joined Wells Fargo in 2002, and for the past 16 years has been their vice president of Diverse Segments. In this capacity, he manages strategic consultative sales initiatives, analytics, provides fair lending insights, and business development support with a focus on first-time homebuyers and underserved growth market segments, for the East Division.


He is a Certified Mortgage Banker, continues to be active with the national, and his local trade associations in Georgia, where he has severed on several committees, as well as a past Board of Directors.
